Intern needed to assist professional poet/ vocalist. (Featured on HBO Def Poetry, BETs Lyric Cafe, and TVOne’s Verses and Flow)
Preferably female. Must be organized, reliable, have a good sense of humor, and some experience in the entertainment industry.
Duties:
Manage website, FB fan page, twitter, and online cd sales.
Email and telephone outreach to book college and university performances.
Outreach to secure an agency that handles jingles and studio vocalist work.
Explore further professional opportunities and ventures.
NOTE: This is a great resume building opportunity! Initially, there is no compensation, but this can evolve into a paid part-time position.
